The tools are provided without charge and without an account. Browser and file-format differences mean a particular file may not be readable or safely rewritable. Error messages are part of the service and should not be bypassed by assuming a file was cleaned.

You must have the right to process the files you select. Do not use the service to misrepresent authorship, evade required disclosures, remove provenance in violation of an agreement, or alter evidence unlawfully.
No guarantee
Software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Verify important output with an independent metadata inspector and confirm that the resulting file opens correctly before deleting an original or relying on the cleanup.

Do not attempt to interfere with the website, distribute malicious files through its name, or mislead others about what local metadata removal can accomplish. The browser limits shown in the interface may change to protect reliability.
